Vista with AOL

Having problems with getting AOL 9.0 SE to work realiably with Vista. The install fails at 99% but when I reboot and go into AOL, it works for one time. Succeeding startups into AOL bombs after it checks my password. Accessing AOL via aol.com seems to be OK but I'd want to able to use the AOL GUI also.
After reconfiguring the firewall settings, my streaming audio and video is fine but of course I'll need to make sure I didn't over do it on the port settings :-) Making progress with the rest of the configurations but understanding build 5342 is even considered "beta" by some, what can you expect :-)

Can you try AOL 10.0?

v10.0 was removed long ago, that was worse that ever! :-) AOL's download page doesn't show 10.0 even being available. I decided to try my luck calling tech support but they didn't even know Vista was being BETA tested.
I'll probably tinker with it some more just to see if I can get it to work realiably. "Zack Whittaker" wrote in message

Just use the settings from AOL then - the amounts of times I've removed AOL from people's computers, configured it via Windows Networking and then using IE to view web pages :o)
